Andre Gray opened the scoring after just 87 seconds when Will Hughes teed up the Watford striker to fire past Marcus Bettinelli. Watford now have 13 points and lie fourth pending the outcome of later matches, while Fulham are 15th with five points. The hosts were playing their 500th match in the Premier League, the 15th team to reach the milestone.
